Steve Schwartz, age 56, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. He suffered various illnesses for many years, including brain cancer and a stroke, which he fought hard. He was a fighter and strong through it all and now he is at peace.
Steve had many loves. His main one was for his family. He loved his wife Debbie of 23 years, son Ethan and stepson Todd with all his heart. His two loving brothers Mark and Mike. Steve loved all his family and their extended family, including his sister in laws Pam and Alison, his nieces Noble, Becky, Brooke and nephew Riley.
Steve had many passions including going out to eat, traveling, (especially cruises – he and his family went on 12 of them), watching and attending sporting events, watching cooking shows on TV, he enjoyed a good coffee from Dunkin Donuts, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family.
Steve worked as a bank branch manager for many years with both Citizens Bank and most recently Eastern Bank. He was a hard worker and enjoyed working with his staff, colleagues, and customers alike. He worked during the recession and was proud he was able to help people keep their homes.
Steve was a kindhearted person and was the true meaning of a genuine and authentic person. He loved life and the people in it. I as his wife describe him as the best person I have known and my soul mate. He was a giving person and there for people in need. If you knew Steve, you were lucky. I know I was as well as everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed. Until we meet again my love.
