Our Name

Our name and locations may change, but our commitment to families never will.

Since opening our doors in 1862, we’ve grown our funeral home to better serve the communities of Cape Cod and the surrounding areas. What began as one funeral parlor in South Boston has grown to include 10 locations across the Cape, each united by a shared name and promise to those families we serve.

Honoring Our Past and Future

All of our loca ons across Cape Cod and Bridgewater now bear the Chapman Funerals & Crema ons name. It’s a name that unifies our funeral homes and helps families easily recognize us in their me of need. However, we con nue to honor our partners, their history, and our legacy together.

 

Each of our chapels is named to recognize the people who have been an integral part of our journey:
