Born Jan, 17th 1918 on Tupper Road, Sandwich, MA. During the Spanish Flu pandemic.

Died Aug 28th, 2020 at Cape Cod Hospital during the Coronavirus pandemic. She enjoyed her family, friends, gardening and her cat Sheba.

Preceded in death by her husband Earle M. Cleaves and granddaughter Arli. Survived by two children; Scott A. Cleaves and his wife Jerrell of Yarmouth Port and Cheryl Jackson and her husband Gary of Carrllton, TX. Two granddaughters; Heidi Parent of West Barnstable and Marnie Somers Vijfhuizen, Netherlands. Three great-grandchildren; Carmindy Clay, Aidan Parent, Eliot Somers and several Nieces and Nephews.

Gladys was a proud member of Capt. Joshua Gray-Jonathan Hatch Chapter of the DAR.

Burial will be private in the Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouth Port.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Brewster Animal Rescue at 3981 Main Street, Brewster, MA. 02631
