Suzanne (Murphy) Posipanko, 78, of Centerville, MA died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 after a brief illness.  She was the daughter of the late Howard “Bud” G. Murphy and the late Barbara (Richardson) Murphy. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Joseph S. Posipanko. She also leaves behind 1 brother Howard Murphy and his wife Donna of VT, 3 children, Barbara Medeiros and her husband Douglas of Westport, MA, Richard Durfee and his fiancée Judith Souza of Somerset, MA, Suzanne Guay and her husband William of East Freetown, MA. 3 stepchildren Brenda Martins and her husband Paul of Blackstone, MA, Diane Lomba and her husband Robert of S. Yarmouth, MA,  Elena McCorrison and her husband Donny of Centerville, MA.  She also is survived by 8 grandchildren, Craig, Colby, Dusten, Kayla, Andrew, Matthew, Kylie and Michael and 5 great grandchildren, several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brother Henry Murphy and granddaughter Angela Durfee.

Suzanne worked in the banking industry for 20 years.  She also worked for many years at Doane, Beal and Ames Funeral home as well as Sears. She was involved with the local Girl Scouts of America in Westport, MA. She was a member of the Semper Fi Sisters.

Suzanne and her husband Joe loved cruising and traveled extensively. Always looking for their next adventure and making many friends and memories along the way.  In the summers they could be found sailing or boating or volunteering at the regattas at their beloved Wequaquet Lake Yacht Club.  Always willing to lend a hand when needed. 

Suzanne was a beautiful soul who led with her heart and was an endless well of love and support.  She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
