John D. Regan

1938 ∼ 2020

John D. Regan, 82, of Centerville, formerly of Brockton, died at Cape Cod Hospital on September 4, 2020. Loving husband of fifty- five years to Elaine Regan of Centerville.

Born in Boston, MA, son of the late John and Margaret (Shea) Regan. John was a US Army Veteran, he worked for Boston Gas Co. for thirty – five years until his retirement in 1995. He enjoyed photography and using the computer, but most of all he loved spending time with his three granddaughters.

He and his wife enjoyed winters in Fort Myers FL, where John spent many days watching the Red Sox in spring training.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his son Scott Regan of Quincy, and his daughter Tracy Regan Duryea and her husband Michael, their children, Emily, Kathleen, and Julia Duryea, all of Sandwich, MA. He also leaves nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Rev. Michael J. Regan, and James W. Regan.

Services and burial will be private.
