Audrey M. Kamataris

Audrey M. Kamataris, of North Falmouth, died January 3, 2021 at Cape Cod Hospital from complications from a medical procedure.

She was the wife of Harry A. Kamataris to whom she was married for forty years. Her husband died in March of 1990.

Audrey was born on December 8, 1929 and raised in Clinton, MA, attended Clinton Public Schools and graduated from Becker Junior College.

Audrey and Harry moved to Falmouth in 1950.

While raising their five children, Audrey was employed by the Falmouth Public Schools in the Business Office for twenty-three years.

Audrey was an active volunteer for the Child Study Club, Junior Outlook Club, Falmouth Hospital Auxiliary, Falmouth Chamber of Commerce, Falmouth Senior Center and served on the board of Friends of Falmouth Senior Center. Audrey was also a member of the First Congregational Church for seventy years, where she served on the Board of Deacons, Sunday School Teacher, and Women’s Union.

Audrey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Her greatest joy was being with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Harry L. Kamataris, Paula H. Judge and her husband John, John P. Kamataris, Jayne L. Reeves and her husband Craig, Ann M. Rennie and her husband Stephen.

She will be forever missed by her five children, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five siblings and many extended family members. She was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.

A private graveside service will be held at the Bourne National Cemetery.
